Landscapes to taste
This is a lovely farming experience for students. We will spend a morning with our cattle rancher Ana. She will teach us how is a normal working day for her with her cows and we will do a short walking tour around her farm which is in the surroundings of the natural park of Peña Cabarga. The cow farm of Ana is very respectful with the animals and cows are raised in freedom, fed with breast milk and fresh pastures, taking advantage of the fruits of the oaks, holm oaks and chestnuts that grow on her farm.
She will also explain to us about the whole process behind the meat you eat. This will allow us to eat consciously, being attentive to the balance that must exist between nature and in livestock to be sustainable and fair.
With this experience, we also give visibility to the women in cattle farmings and we commit ourselves to sustainable rural development.
